On Sunday, August 3, 2008 the the lawn surrounding the Inner Harbor begins to fill up very early as Gerry Greth enjoys his vantage point. As evening approaches the lights go on at the Parliament Buildings and at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, too. Dozens of dingys and small boats crowd the small waterway in front of the huge barge. After the performance there are fireworks along with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture

Sunday ends with fireworks and Monday begins with the Snowbirds in preparation for the Festival 150 festivities culminating with sets by Sarah McLachlan and then by Feist. Monday was a picture perfect day for sunbathing and enjoying watersports of all sorts !!
