The Lotus Super 7 was almost all polished aluminum, just a black nose and fenders and there was a green Lotus, too. And when it comes to polished aluminum, a Jaguar's engine can be a work of art. Next stop was a look at the racing hardware. As I started toward the paddock, Tom Pultz (www.944S2.com) and his better half greeted me and we talked 944s for awhile. Then Jim Dinnie showed me the new silver paint in his 944 turbo.

Everyone was enjoying the sights and sounds. Hollywood 18 watched the paddock entrance; nearby there were vendors: tee shirts, scale models, auto books. The Park Place (www.parkplaceltd.com) display was my favorite. Go forward to: PAGE 5 |
